Promotions & promo codes
Promotions are deliberately simple: codes that take money off, with limits you control and results you can see. Available on Studio and above.
Creating a code
A promotion is a code (say, EARLYBIRD) with either a fixed amount or a percentage off. You choose which offerings it applies to — one class, a category, or everything.
Usage limits
Two caps keep a promotion bounded: a total redemption limit ("first 50 uses") and a per-customer limit (usually 1). When a promotion is exhausted, checkout says so clearly instead of failing silently.
Where discounts apply
Codes apply at checkout on the public site. The discounted price flows through everything downstream — receipts, sales reporting, and refunds all use the amount actually paid.
Measuring results
Each code tracks redemptions and revenue per offering, so you can tell whether a campaign filled the room or just discounted people who would have come anyway.
What promotions are not
Promotions never touch your subscription price and are never funded by PaySeats fees — there aren't any on sales. A discount is always your pricing decision on your revenue.
