Cookie Policy
Last Updated: April 27, 2026
1. Introduction and Data Controller
This Cookie Policy describes the use of cookies and similar technologies on the website https://payseats.com and other browser-based PaySeats experiences (the "Platform").
This Cookie Policy is intended to be read together with our Privacy Policy and to reflect applicable GDPR, Spanish LOPDGDD, and Spanish electronic communications or cookie-consent requirements.
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), the party responsible for processing the data collected via cookies is:
- Company Name: PaySeats Europe SL
- Tax ID (NIF): B22704407
- EU VAT ID: ESB22704407
- Registered Address: Calle Camí d'es Castell 261, 2º 3ª, 07702 Mahón, Balearic Islands, Spain
- Contact Email: [email protected]
- Data Protection Contact: [email protected]
This policy applies to cookies and similar browser technologies on PaySeats web properties. The native PaySeats Terminal app may use device-local or secure runtime storage for session and security purposes, but those mechanisms are not browser cookies and are not described in the cookie tables below.
2. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember information about your visit, such as your preferred language, login status, or items in a shopping cart. This makes your next visits easier and the site more useful to you. We also use similar technologies like pixels and local storage.
References to cookies in this policy include similar browser-based technologies, such as local storage, session storage, pixels, SDK identifiers, or comparable browser identifiers where applicable.
3. What Types of Cookies Do We Use?
We use different types of cookies based on their purpose and management:
| Category | Purpose | Cookie Examples | Consent Required |
|---|---|---|---|
| Technical & Security | Enable CSRF protection, secure sign-in, device recognition, session refresh, region routing, and core navigation. | ps_at (or configured access-token cookie), ps_next, deviceId, deviceKey, refreshToken, ps_region, configured CSRF cookie | No |
| Preferences & Consent | Remember settings or choices you request, such as language selection or whether you accepted optional analytics or marketing cookies. | ps_consent, ps_locale | No (only when you request the preference) |
| Analytics & Performance | Measure usage and improve the public site only if optional analytics is enabled in a future deployment. | None by default on public pages today | Yes |
| Marketing | Support opt-in campaign measurement or remarketing only if marketing tools are enabled later. | None by default on public pages today | Yes |
Note on third-party services: Core platform features may rely on first-party technical cookies and, where applicable, third-party service providers such as payment or security infrastructure. Optional analytics or marketing cookies are not set on public pages by default today; if we enable them later, we will request consent before using them. Essential cookies may still be set when you use authenticated or protected browser-based PaySeats experiences.
4. Managing Cookies: How to Accept, Reject, or Change Cookie Settings
When you first visit our Platform, we display a banner where you can accept all or reject non-essential cookies.
Today, the banner stores your analytics and marketing choice in a first-party consent cookie. We do not currently provide a standalone in-product preference center after the banner is dismissed. Clearing the ps_consent cookie resets that optional analytics or marketing choice only; it does not remove other browser cookies used for sign-in, device recognition, CSRF protection, session refresh, region routing, redirect continuation, or language preference. If you want to change the optional choice later, you can clear the ps_consent cookie or block cookies from your browser settings:
- Google Chrome: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647
- Mozilla Firefox: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/enable-and-disable-cookies-website-preferences
- Safari: https://support.apple.com/guide/safari/manage-cookies-and-website-data-sfri11471/mac
If you clear the ps_consent cookie, the banner may be shown again on a future visit.
Please note that if you disable essential cookies, some parts of the Platform may not function correctly.
Depending on the browser-based PaySeats experience you use, PaySeats may use ps_consent, ps_at (or a configured access-token cookie), ps_next, ps_locale, deviceId, deviceKey, refreshToken, ps_region, and a deployment-configured CSRF cookie. Some of these cookies support security or authentication flows, while others store your consent choice or requested language preference.
5. Legal Basis for Processing
- Essential Cookies: These are used where necessary to provide the Platform, maintain security, remember requested settings, support authentication, prevent fraud or abuse, route traffic, preserve checkout or session state, or perform similar functions requested by the user. Depending on the context, the legal basis may be performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, or PaySeats' legitimate interest in operating a secure and functional service.
- Other Cookies (Analytics, Marketing): We only use these with your explicit consent, which you can provide via the cookie banner. Under the current implementation, you can change that browser-level choice by clearing the consent cookie or blocking cookies in your browser.
6. International Data Transfers
The use of third-party provider cookies or similar browser technologies may involve the transfer of data to countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, adequacy decisions, or other lawful safeguards, and we assess transfer risks where applicable.
7. Your Rights and More Information
For detailed information about the data we collect, your rights (access, rectification, erasure, etc.), and how we protect your personal data, please see our Privacy Policy at https://payseats.com/privacy.
You can exercise your rights by contacting our Data Protection Contact at [email protected].
8. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Cookie Policy. We will notify you of any substantial changes 30 days in advance via the Platform and/or by email.
