1. Introduction and Data Controller

This Cookie Policy describes the use of cookies and similar technologies on the website https://payseats.com and other browser-based PaySeats experiences (the "Platform").

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), the party responsible for processing the data collected via cookies is:

  • Company Name: PaySeats Europe SL
  • Tax ID (NIF): B22704407

This policy applies to cookies and similar browser technologies on PaySeats web properties. The native PaySeats Terminal app may use device-local or secure runtime storage for session and security purposes, but those mechanisms are not browser cookies and are not described in the cookie tables below.

2. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember information about your visit, such as your preferred language, login status, or items in a shopping cart. This makes your next visits easier and the site more useful to you. We also use similar technologies like pixels and local storage.

3. What Types of Cookies Do We Use?

We use different types of cookies based on their purpose and management:

Note on third-party services: Core platform features may rely on first-party technical cookies and, where applicable, third-party service providers such as payment or security infrastructure. Optional analytics or marketing cookies are not set on public pages by default today; if we enable them later, we will request consent before using them.

When you first visit our Platform, we display a banner where you can accept all or reject non-essential cookies.

Today, the banner stores your analytics and marketing choice in a first-party consent cookie. We do not currently provide a standalone in-product preference center after the banner is dismissed. If you want to change that choice later, you can clear the ps_consent cookie or block cookies from your browser settings:

  • Google Chrome: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647
  • Mozilla Firefox: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/enable-and-disable-cookies-website-preferences
  • Safari: https://support.apple.com/guide/safari/manage-cookies-and-website-data-sfri11471/mac

If you clear the ps_consent cookie, the banner may be shown again on a future visit.

Please note that if you disable essential cookies, some parts of the Platform may not function correctly.

  • Essential Cookies: We process this data based on our legitimate interest in ensuring the security and proper functioning of the Platform and for the performance of our service contract.
  • Other Cookies (Analytics, Marketing): We only use these with your explicit consent, which you can provide via the cookie banner. Under the current implementation, you can change that browser-level choice by clearing the consent cookie or blocking cookies in your browser.

6. International Data Transfers

The use of third-party provider cookies (for example, analytics or marketing providers) may involve the transfer of data to countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA). These transfers are carried out under appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

7. Your Rights and More Information

We reserve the right to modify this Cookie Policy. We will notify you of any substantial changes 30 days in advance via the Platform and/or by email.
